The Bramley Compact Stoneware Planter offers a grounded counterpoint to the noise of trend-led decor. With its textured finish and pared-down shape, this compact vessel brings subtle dimension to shelves, sideboards, and quiet corners.
The surface recalls aged masonry — lightly weathered and soft to the eye — making it feel lived-in from the start. Suited to smaller faux stems, dried grasses, or simply left empty, its compact scale lends itself to layering.
Please note that this vase is designed for faux florals only. For real flowers, please use cellophane wrap.
Dimensions: 26L x 26W x 20H cm
Material: Ceramic – Stone Finish with weathered textural detailing

▸ Unearthed at Wroxeter
Inspired by compact Roman-era artefacts excavated at Wroxeter — the remains of one of Britain’s largest Roman cities — the Bramley form draws on the utilitarian vessels once used for oils and offerings. The scale and silhouette speak to these ancient domestic fragments: tactile, worn, and quietly essential.
▸ Softened by Time, Sharpened by Form
Crafted in stoneware with a matte, stippled finish, the vessel embraces brutalist quietude with a softened profile. Its faintly irregular texture mimics stone aged by exposure, but remains sharply defined at the lip and base. This is deliberate design with the patina of memory — architectural but human.
▸ Composed Layers in a Smaller Frame
Positioned on a ledge, bookshelf, or plinth, the compact shape allows for multi-height layering with other pieces from the Bramley or Halden series. Best styled with dried blooms, wild stems, or natural branches — each composition becomes its own archaeological moment.
▸ To Be Placed, Not Massed
The Bramley Round Stoneware Planter is best styled with the Spring Bloom Faux Blossom Stem, whose delicate form introduces organic movement and pale tonal contrast against the planter’s matte white surface. Positioned alongside the Bramley Stone Ceramic Flute Table Lamp, the composition creates a balanced interplay of texture, shape, and light—offering a cohesive styling arrangement for sideboards, console tables, or alcoves within muted, architectural interiors.
